OrangeFIN earns Malaysia Technology Excellence Award for Robotics

Earlier this month, OrangeFIN Asia’s robotic automation process (RPA) solution OrangeWorkforce took home the trophy for the Robotics - IT category at the 2020 Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards. Presented by Singapore Business Review, contestents were Judged on the basis of exceptionality, innovation, success, impact, and dynamism.

Built on the concept of ‘workforce augmentation’, businesses can now perform tasks quicker and more cost-effective than ever using OrangeWorkforce. High-volume and complex tasks that are traditionally done by humans can be taken over by our bots instead. To date, among the tasks taken over by OrangeWorkforce include customer service automation, business process outsourcing, bill of lading, accounts payable and accounts receivable reports, regulatory reporting and reconciliation, AI cheque clearance, monitoring and repairing IT services, and KPI and dashboard tracking.

Automation of the Cheque Clearing Process

OrangeFIN has collaborated with one of the top 5 Banks in Malaysia to automate its end-to-end Cheque Clearing Process using a combination of OrangeWorkforce (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to clear on average 135,000 cheques daily. Automating the start of day activities of downloading the cheque data from MyClear, performing validation works, and lastly the end of day balancing and reconciliation.

OrangeFIN was able to make a public appearance with this success story at the 2019 Robotic Process and Intelligent Automation Conference held on 11 June 2019 to 12 June 2019 at the Four Seasons Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, presented by the Head of Group Operations and Technology.
