Background
Company Sales support team needs to generate quotations daily in SAP and register stock availability in inventory and capture planned delivery date.
Manual Process Before OrangeWorkforce RPA:
- Human log in to the SAP system using the provided credentials.
- Human perform quotation generation process which include input customer information, select product code/ parts.
- Human verify stock availability for the selected products by accessing to the inventory module in SAP
- Human verify pricing for the quotation which includes discount, applicable taxes or fees.
- Human generate the quotation document within SAP and review all information are accurate and complete.
- Human validate the pricing calculation and stock availability based on planned delivery date are accurately reflected.
- Email finalised quotation to customer
Automated Process with OrangeWorkforce RPA:
- Bot read the PO details in PDF format from an online database
- Bot login to SAP to generate the quotation accordingly.
- Bot needs to get the system part name to be key in correctly in SAP
- Bot needs to trigger low on stock in system and capture the planned delivery date
- Bot needs to upload the quotation to and online sales system
